Hello! I saw a video called Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, then Spring
a few days ago. We saw the first part(Spring) only.
It says a young monk ties a stone over 3 three weak and small animals.
The animals were:A fish, a frog, and a snake.
Then the old monk sees the young monk doing that,
so he tied a big rock at the young monk's back
when he is sleeping.
When the young monk gets up at morning,
he found there's stone on his back and asked the old monk to untie it.
So the old monk requested the young monk to untie the animals first.
I have my personal experience that I learned a lesson from adults.
Do you want to know? Even you don't want to know, I also will tell you.
Maybe when I"m 6 or 8 years old, I told lots of lies to my mom.
Maybe 1 or 2 per day? I'm not so sure. But I'm pretty sure
that I told lots of lies.
After that, mom knew that were all lies and she did same thing to me,
like... sorry I forgot again but my mom lied to me for about a week.
After that week, mom taught me a very good lesson that: DON'T LIE.
maybe starting from that day, I didn't lie that much as before.
It doesn't mean I never lied from that day.
But I'm pretty sure that kids NEED to learn lesson from parents before
they teach anything to their parents.
I will do my conclusion here.
I think the old monk did the right thing to the young monk,
because if he didn't say anything to the young monk at that time,
maybe he will keep on doing it. And I don't think MONKS
should do that cruel things to living creatures.
So, in conclusion, adults' teaching leads their kids
to a good way of life.
Thank you for reading!
And maybe you'd like to watch the video ;)
